To simply be here and love each other is quite enough.
Spring break gives an opportunity for adventure. Since our preference is spontaneity, we decided to take our van and drive from Central Coast California through the Rocky Mountains to Boulder, Colorado. Our older children attend Naropa University, a place of learning that supports inquiry and awakening.
I enjoy seeing the young adults in love with life and learning. It reminds us once again of the importance of inquiry. When we stay open, aware and curious life has an intelligent way of unfolding.
We also visited the colorful Stupa (a building Buddhists use for meditation) at the Shambhala Mountain Center in northern Colorado which serves as an inspiration for peace and compassion throughout the world. The Stupa challenges our need to be separate personalities and instead invites us to experience ourselves as boundless love.
There is a possibility of experiencing the pure bliss of being when we close our eyes and attune with our basic goodness, especially when visiting a Stupa or place of contemplation.
I would like to invite you this week to choose a color on my color glossary which can be found on www.ayncatessullivan.com and engage in a ten thousand year old practice of self-inquiry which leads to an increased awareness of the I Am Presence. Inquiry helps us dissolve the unreal and offers us an ongoing liberation practice.
